Zach earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, and obtained his law degree from the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law, Cum Laude. While in law school, Zach received two Book Awards in recognition of having received the highest marks in both his trial team and trial practice courses. He served as Senior Vice-President of the UF Law Trial Team, and repeatedly traveled to national trial competitions along with his team, winning multiple awards for excellence in advocacy. Upon graduation, Zach was one of two members of the Trial Team to be inducted into the Order of the Barristers Oral Advocacy Honors Society. Zach then began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Central Florida, where he tried dozens of cases to verdict. Zach then began practicing civil law as a Plaintiff’s attorney, before ultimately being offered an opportunity to litigate defense cases for a respected boutique litigation firm. Zach represented large global companies in each of his defense practices, focusing on high exposure cases with potential brand impact. He continues to do so, today.

Beyond SSE Legal

Zach was born and raised in Miami, and currently lives and practices law in Broward County, Florida. A proud Columbus High School graduate, Zach enjoys spending his time woodworking, reading, and playing with his pit bull rescue, Zola.

He has extensive experience in representing national and regional businesses and brands, and regularly litigates high-exposure cases for a variety of clients, from start to finish. In his practice, he focuses on long term litigation strategy, and client brand protection, so as to provide the best defense available in each case. He provides zealous representation, and realistic assessments, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism throughout the entire litigation process. Throughout his career, Zach has tried more than thirty-five (35) jury trial cases to verdict.

Outside of the courtroom, Zach also serves as the Vice Chair of the Seventeenth Circuit’s Grievance Committee, Section A, which is a committee that reviews complaints made against other lawyers, to determine whether there is probable cause to believe that a lawyer violated the professional conduct rules imposed by the Supreme Court of Florida, and whether discipline against the lawyer appears to be warranted. He has also written about, and been published concerning, the production of certain evidence in response to discovery requests for the same. Finally, in 2019, Zach became admitted to practice in the Court of Federal Claims, making him one of the relatively few attorneys in the State who is eligible to argue Federal Claims Court matters.
